Gobinchu, Marc's imaginary friend, has disappeared. Berta, his younger sister, hires detectives Blue & Malone, a giant cat and a plasticine dog, to investigate what happened. Together, they tour the house living many adventures and knowing and facing numerous fantastic creatures.

Three inseparable friends get together every afternoon to play, but Leocádia, their evil building manager, always gets in their way. When something fishy happens around the building, they become the Blue Building Detectives!

On the eve of its demolition, Berta visits the old theater where her grandmother used to work. She finds out that it's not completely abandoned - Mortando Malone and Big Blue Cat, her old imaginary friends, are there to help her solve an impossible case: recapture her capacity to dream.
